Data Center Project Engineer

AWS Infrastructure Services is seeking a Data Center Project Engineer to join their team responsible for the design, planning, delivery, and operation of AWS global infrastructure. This role is crucial in keeping the cloud running, supporting AWS data centers, servers, storage, networking, and equipment. You'll be part of a diverse team working on challenging infrastructure problems with global impact.

As a Data Center Project Engineer, you'll be stationed on-site daily, collaborating with construction managers and stakeholders to ensure high-quality delivery of data center construction projects. Your responsibilities include managing communication with vendors, overseeing information workflow, and handling document management including RFIs, change orders, and schedule updates.

The ideal candidate should have experience in construction management, technical expertise in reading construction drawings, and strong communication skills in both English and Japanese. You'll work alongside Operations, Networking, Controls, Security, and Commissioning teams to build industry-leading, energy-efficient data centers.
