Data Centre Chief Engineer, Data Centre Engineering Operations

AWS Infrastructure Services is seeking a Chief Engineer to join their Data Centre Engineering Operations (DCEO) Team. This role is crucial in maintaining the critical physical infrastructure that powers AWS's global operations. The Data Centre Chief Engineer ensures 100% availability of Mechanical/Electrical/Plumbing (MEP) systems while delivering exceptional customer service.

The position involves managing both routine operations and emergency responses, serving as a technical expert for on-site Engineering Operations Technicians and third-party vendors. You'll be responsible for project management, technical program oversight, and driving innovation in facility operations. The role requires expertise in critical systems including diesel generators, switchgear, UPS's, PDU's, DAHU's, chillers, and building automation systems.

The position offers comprehensive training (6-12 months) with rotation through various AWS locations before permanent placement.
