Data Centre Chief Engineer, Data Centre Engineering Operations

AWS Infrastructure Services is seeking a Data Centre Chief Engineer to join their Data Centre Engineering Operations (DCEO) Team. This role is crucial in maintaining AWS's global infrastructure, ensuring 100% availability of data centre's Mechanical/Electrical/Plumbing (MEP) systems. The position combines hands-on technical leadership with project management, requiring expertise in critical facility operations.

The ideal candidate will serve as the primary technical resource for the facility, managing both day-to-day operations and strategic improvements. They will oversee a team of Engineering Operations Technicians, coordinate with vendors, and drive innovation in facility operations. The role involves working with complex systems including generators, UPS's, chillers, and building automation systems.
