The position involves managing the complex process of physical repairs and recovery of buildings and assets following disaster events. As part of the Disaster Recovery & Investigation (DRI) team, you'll work with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient recovery operations and minimize operational disruptions.

Key aspects of the role include:

  • Leading emergency response efforts and providing expert guidance on facility re-entry protocols

  • Coordinating with multiple stakeholders including Operations, Construction, Maintenance, Safety, and Engineering teams

The role offers the flexibility of remote work within the US, though it requires up to 40% travel across North America. You'll participate in on-call rotations, including after-hours, weekends, and holidays, ensuring 24/7 emergency response capability.

This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced project manager with a strong background in commercial/industrial construction or disaster recovery. The role combines technical expertise with leadership skills, requiring someone who can make quick decisions under pressure while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.

Amazon offers comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage, parental leave options, 401(k) plans, and competitive compensation based on location and experience. The base salary ranges from $111,400 to $185,000 per year, varying by geographic market.
