Robotics Software Engineer, Amazon Robotics (AR)

Amazon Robotics is building a new foundational system which will transform warehouse robotics. The system integrates multiple custom robots into a cohesive and highly efficient solution. The team is seeking a Software Development Engineer to help build and scale this robotic system across the fulfillment network.

As a key member of this critical priority project, you will:

• Work across teams to design and develop metrics and data infrastructure connecting robotic systems to the cloud
• Develop and test software changes on robotic equipment in the lab
• Develop queries, data visualizations, and tooling for accessing data generated by robotic systems
• Work closely with internal stakeholders to define feature requirements and see the impact of your products in the field

The ideal candidate is passionate about software development and has a track record of designing and implementing new products and features using cloud technologies (preferably AWS) and software deployed at the edge. They have experience deploying solutions at scale in live environments and possess a deep and broad understanding of software tools and complex algorithm development.
