AWS Infrastructure Services is seeking a mid-level Software Development Engineer to join the Route 53 Resolver team, focusing on building zero trust network access capabilities for AWS customers. This role is part of the team that owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure.
The position offers an opportunity to work on cloud-native security platforms protecting enterprise customers from cyberattacks and data loss. You'll be part of Amazon Route 53, a highly available and scalable DNS service operating in over 50 locations worldwide, providing advanced functionality such as Private DNS, DNS Firewall, DNS resolver, and integration with various AWS services.
As an SDE, you'll be responsible for designing and developing zero trust systems, collaborating with engineers to shape strategy, and helping mentor junior team members. The role involves working on deep technical problems spanning databases, networking, distributed systems, numerical analysis, and security.
