Responsibilities For System Development Engineer II, REALM
- Act as first level support for production software application issues across 100+ services in Amazon Transportation Technology
- Troubleshoot, diagnose and fix production software issues
- Develop monitoring solutions and implement fixes for internally developed code
- Perform software maintenance and configuration
- Work with development teams on Amazon Corporate and Divisional Software projects
- Build tools and automations to optimize systems
- Implement solutions that detect and prevent outages
- Coordinate between multiple Development, Operations and IT Support groups
Requirements For System Development Engineer II, REALM
- Experience in automating, deploying, and supporting large-scale infrastructure
- Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, C++, C#, Rust
- Experience with Linux/Unix
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines build processes
- Superior verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and maintain professionalism under pressure
