Responsibilities For Power System Engineer – Power Electronics

  • Participate in core architecture investigation
  • Select best design option for power metric performance optimization
  • Lead development of power supplies from prototype to mass-production
  • Provide design simulation, calculations and analytical models
  • Provide design risk assessments and mitigation plans
  • Work with layout team for power supply layout
  • Conduct design and layout reviews
  • Provide prototypes test and validation results
  • Provide technical support for production issues debug and resolutions

Requirements For Power System Engineer – Power Electronics

  • BS in EE or related field plus 5 to 7 years of experience in power electronics
  • Hands-on experience of power supply design and deep knowledge of offline conversion topologies
  • Familiar with power supply safety and environmental certifications requirements
  • Knowledge of control theory and basic embedded systems
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Willingness to travel overseas periodically (approximately 10%)
  • Must be highly motivated, self-starter with a passion for innovation
