Manufacturing Test Engineer II

CesiumAstro is seeking a Manufacturing Test Engineer II to join their team. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about developing leading-edge manufacturing processes for high-reliability, high-volume satellites in a startup environment. The position involves analyzing, implementing, and executing engineering test plans and procedures. The ideal candidate should have a strong combination of hardware and software knowledge, with proficiencies in test equipment, test architectures, and automation.

Key responsibilities include:

• Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to lead and develop test requirements
• Mapping requirements to reusable test architectures and procedures
• Implementing test plans and procedures
• Logging and presenting results to key stakeholders
• Managing lab and equipment, guiding key equipment purchase decisions
• Evaluating non-conformances to determine root cause and create actionable items and system improvements
