As a Product Manager in the Google Cloud Compute Reliability and Trust team, you will own the strategy for the Compute Control Plane - the foundational layer where customers are able to provision resources through Google Compute Engine and Persistent Disk.

Responsibilities: • Coordinate with leading security strategists in Cloud Security and Cloud Chief Information Security Officer to represent Cloud Compute at the Google Cloud Platform level. • Develop relationships with regulated industries, and be the trusted subject-matter expert on these customers and the market. • Develop business cases and success metrics for key programs in collaboration with security partners and cross-functional teams.

Requirements For Product Manager, Compute Engine Security

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 5 years of experience in product management or related technical role
  • 2 years of experience developing or launching products or technologies within security, privacy, or a related area
  • Experience in or serving a regulated industry (e.g., Financial Services, US Public Sector, healthcare, or equivalent)
