Responsibilities For Technical Program Manager, Android Platform Safety

  • Plan and guide engineering programs that deliver new security and privacy capabilities within the Android platform
  • Coordinate across internal teams including feature engineers, product management, release management, and external parties
  • Partner with engineering teams to deliver analysis solutions that ensure the Android ecosystem is protected
  • Manage relationships with internal and external partners
  • Utilize a data motivated approach, making use of appropriate metrics and dashboards

Requirements For Technical Program Manager, Android Platform Safety

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 5 years of experience in program management
  • Experience with security in threat modeling, incident/emergency response, OS hardening, vulnerability management
  • Experience with Android applications, Android operating systems and frameworks
  • Experience working in Security and Privacy engineering organizations
  • Experience with operating systems
  • Experience in managing technical projects
