Responsibilities For Lead Android Developer
- Lead and mentor a team of Android developers, providing technical guidance and support
- Manage client expectations and ensure alignment with project goals
- Research and adapt functionality to leverage existing Android design patterns
- Architect and design scalable and maintainable software solutions
- Work across disciplines with team members representing product, content, and web development
- Code with Kotlin, Java, and Android frameworks
- Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of Android applications
Requirements For Lead Android Developer
- 10+ years of software engineering
- 6+ years as an Android Developer
- Proven experience in a leadership role, managing and mentoring a team
- Bachelor's or advanced degree in computer science or a related discipline
- Strong proficiency working with Kotlin on Android is a plus
- Experience publishing apps
- Familiarity with back-end development
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing
- Excellent understanding of managing limited resources (memory, network, CPU) efficiently
- Excellent spoken and written English
