Software Engineer, Computer Vision - Reality Labs

As a Computer Vision Software Engineer on the Reality Labs team, you'll help build new, innovative hardware and software that radically redefine the way people work, play and connect. You'll be at the heart of change and the frontier of what's to come, helping to define the metaverse.

The ideal candidate will have industry experience working on computer vision related topics. You'll apply AI and machine learning techniques to build intelligent rich visual systems, develop novel AI algorithms, and advance the state of AI for your problem. You'll work on large-scale applications, define use cases, and develop methodologies and benchmarks to evaluate different approaches.

Responsibilities include:

• Applying AI and machine learning techniques to improve Meta's products and experiences
• Advancing the state of AI for your problem, including setting and executing roadmaps
• Defining projects for other engineers and achieving impact based on your direction
• Developing novel, accurate AI algorithms and advanced systems for large-scale applications
• Understanding and driving gain from signal and model configurations
• Defining use cases and developing methodologies to evaluate different approaches
