Senior Data Scientist, Content Data Science and Engineering

Netflix is seeking a talented Senior Data Scientist to provide key insights to content decision makers in the Latin American region. The role involves generating insights through deep dive analysis, collaborating with local partner analytics teams, Consumer Insights, and Finance & Strategy. The successful candidate will scope and execute projects, propose new opportunities, and support impactful decision-making.

Key responsibilities include:

• Being a strategic thought partner with business stakeholders
• Developing statistical models explaining viewership and content engagement
• Building dashboards and visualizations for stakeholders
• Translating analytic insights into actionable recommendations
• Identifying and socializing regional insights

Required skills:

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong statistical knowledge and understanding of predictive modeling
• Experience with experimentation and result interpretation
• Strong SQL skills and experience with distributed analytic processing technologies
• Proficiency in Python or R
• Self-starter who thrives under autonomy
• Enthusiasm for Netflix culture
