Responsibilities For Process Optimization Engineer

  • Lead implementation of continuous improvement initiatives for distribution systems
  • Work with stakeholders to plan and execute solutions
  • Research, analyze, and troubleshoot SanMar distribution systems
  • Assist with creation of detailed project plans and frameworks
  • Act as point-of-contact for vendors regarding distribution solutions
  • Provide Tier III functional support and training to staff
  • Create documentation for systems, tools, and processes
  • Work with technical teams to identify, design and deliver system changes
  • Consult on optimization of current solutions and design of new solutions
  • Participate in build and User Acceptance testing activities

Requirements For Process Optimization Engineer

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Technology Discipline or equivalent industry experience
  • 1-3 years of experience delivering continuous improvement initiatives in distribution or comparable setting
  • 1-3 years of experience using technology-based distribution systems
  • Familiarity with HighJump/Korber, BlueJay Parcel Management, WMS equipment
  • Excellent MS Excel skills
  • Ability to write and execute basic to intermediate SQL queries
  • Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills
  • Ability to work cooperatively with all levels of individuals
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Flexible schedule, able to provide off-hours support
  • Ability to travel frequently as needed
