Senior Application Security Engineer

ShiftKey is seeking a Senior Application Security Engineer to join their global Information Security team. This role offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies, enjoy high autonomy, and shape the future of the application security program. The position is based in Poland, marking ShiftKey's second location in the country, and offers collaboration with colleagues worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with development teams on security requirements during design and architecture phases
• Define and advocate for secure coding practices and standards
• Provide guidance and training on secure coding principles
• Automate security testing processes
• Collaborate on incident response for application-related security issues
• Analyze vulnerabilities and guide remediation

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in application security or related roles
• Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Python or JavaScript)
• Familiarity with application security frameworks (e.g., STRIDE, OWASP)
• Experience with application security testing tools (SAST, DAST, IAST)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

Technologies: Veracode, AWS Security Stack, Kafka, Jira, Burp Suite
