Senior Application Security Engineer

ShiftKey is seeking a Senior Application Security Engineer to join their global Information Security team. This role offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies, enjoy high autonomy, and shape the future of the application security program. The position is based in Poland, marking ShiftKey's second location in the country, and offers collaboration with colleagues worldwide.

Key responsibilities include:

• Collaborating with development teams on security requirements during design and architecture phases
• Defining and advocating secure coding practices and standards
• Providing guidance and training on secure coding principles
• Automating security testing processes
• Collaborating on incident response for application-related security issues
• Analyzing vulnerabilities and offering remediation guidance

The ideal candidate should have:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in application security or related roles
• Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Python or JavaScript)
• Familiarity with application security frameworks and development tools
• Experience with application security testing tools
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
