Responsibilities For Manufacturing Engineer, Injection Molding (Starlink)

  • Develop plastic injection molding manufacturing processes for Starlink hardware
  • Optimize injection molding process through parameter optimization and DOE experiments
  • Implement high-volume production processes (1M+ per year)
  • Manage production layout and material flow optimization
  • Oversee production line tooling, inventory, and training
  • Influence design for improved manufacturability
  • Drive DFT and DFM best practices
  • Identify and evaluate automation opportunities
  • Develop solutions with in-house resources or vendors
  • Provide technical support for production line issues

Requirements For Manufacturing Engineer, Injection Molding (Starlink)

  • Bachelor's degree in aerospace, mechanical, systems, electrical, materials, or other engineering discipline
  • 1+ years of manufacturing environment experience
  • Must be U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee, or asylee (ITAR requirements)
  • Willing to work extended hours and weekends as needed
  • Able to travel up to 10% of the time
