Description For Senior Customer Reliability Engineer

Sysdig is seeking a Senior Customer Reliability Engineer to join their team in Japan. This role involves supporting and resolving technical issues for high-value customers in the cloud security space. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience in technical support for enterprises, knowledge of cloud infrastructures and container technologies, and fluency in both Japanese and English.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing incident management and customer problem resolution
  • Debugging complex problems and collaborating with Engineering
  • Developing internal and customer-facing knowledge and documentation

Required skills:

  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure)
  • Hands-on Linux experience
  • Knowledge of container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, Openshift)
  • Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, AWS CloudFormation)
  • Scripting skills (Bash/Shell/Python)

  • Knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform and AWS CloudFormation
  • Knowledge of scripting languages (Bash/Shell/Python)
  • Experience with tools/platforms such as Cassandra, Elasticsearch, and/or Kafka
  • Fluency in both Japanese and English
