Description For Sr. Sales Engineer

Sysdig is seeking a Sr. Sales Engineer to join their team in driving cloud security globally. This role involves conducting in-depth discovery discussions with prospective customers, performing product demonstrations, and assisting with POCs. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of technical sales experience in infrastructure and enterprise software, with exposure to the container ecosystem and microservices.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Driving discovery discussions with prospective customers
  • Conducting virtual and live product demonstrations
  • Interfacing with Sysdig teams to evangelize offerings
  • Assisting customers with POCs and ensuring their success
  • Collaborating with support, customer success, and professional services teams
  • Shaping the culture and future of the Sysdig Sales Engineering organization
  • Demonstrating understanding of the security landscape and cloud-native application security challenges
  • Being a trusted advisor to customers and prospects

The role requires strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities, and the capacity to balance multiple customers while delivering results quickly. Experience with containers, Kubernetes, cloud security, cloud architecture, observability, Linux, and major cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) is highly valued.
