  • Build and test optical, electrical, or vacuum systems
  • Systems integration of electronics controller with sensors
  • Set-up test equipment; automate data collection

Requirements For R&D Engineer

  • Engineering/related degree and 3+ years relevant work experience
  • Must be U.S. persons (citizens, permanent residents, or eligible refugees/asylees)
  • Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers and collaborators
  • Experience with lasers and optics, electronics, and/or vacuum systems in R&D environment
  • Experience with electronic test instrumentation
  • System integration, bring-up, and debugging skills
  • Basic PCB board bring-up experience
  • Electromechanical design experience
  • Computer-aided design skills
  • Basic machining skills
