The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in QA automation or SDET roles, with deep expertise in Cypress/Playwright and REST-assured for API testing. You'll be responsible for developing scalable test automation frameworks, implementing CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring compliance with healthcare security standards.
As a technical leader, you'll drive Shift-Left Testing practices, mentor junior engineers, and optimize test execution in AWS environments. Your role will be crucial in maintaining high-quality standards through automated testing integration into the development lifecycle.

Responsibilities For QA Automation Engineer II / SDET
- Develop and maintain scalable test automation frameworks for UI, API, and performance testing
- Build and implement automation using Cypress or Playwright, REST-assured, and k6
- Collaborate with engineers to integrate automated testing into the development lifecycle
- Drive Shift-Left Testing by ensuring quality is embedded early in the development process
- Optimize test execution in AWS environments using Terraform and CloudFormation
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar tools
- Mentor junior engineers, conduct code reviews, and advocate for best practices
- Ensure compliance with healthcare security and regulatory standards
Requirements For QA Automation Engineer II / SDET
- 5+ years of experience in QA automation or SDET roles
- Expertise in Cypress/Playwright (TypeScript/JavaScript) and REST-assured for API testing
- Strong experience in building automation frameworks from scratch
- Proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript (React experience is a plus)
- Performance testing experience using k6 or similar tools
- Strong understanding of CI/CD best practices and infrastructure-as-code
- Experience working in regulated industry is a plus but not required
