10x Genomics, a leader in biological analysis tools, is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to join their innovative team. You'll work on creating software services, tooling, and infrastructure, primarily developing React applications on AWS. Your role involves interacting with various teams, from computational biologists to manufacturing, to build robust and performant software.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing, building, and shipping production-ready software
- Developing systems to manage petabytes of genomic and image data
- Creating single-page React applications and service APIs
- Deploying and monitoring internal applications
- Providing technical leadership and focusing on continuous improvement

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field with 4 years of experience, or 6 years of professional software development experience
- Strong expertise in Python and JavaScript for front-end development
- Preferred skills include proficiency with Go, React, Linux, Docker, and Kubernetes
- Experience with cloud deployment and UI development

Responsibilities For Full Stack Software Engineer
- Design, build, test, and ship production-ready software
- Work with scientists, hardware, product management, and other software teams to determine the shape of new features and services to build
- Dive deeply into your users technical challenges and assist them with efficient solutions
- Provide strong technical leadership and a focus on continuous improvement
- Develop systems for efficiently managing petabytes of genomic and image data
- Build and maintain software processes, tools, and infrastructure
- Make substantive changes to existing internal web tools across the stack, from cloud deployment to UI changes
- Develop single-page React applications as well as service APIs to serve and display experimental data
- Deploy and monitor internal applications
Requirements For Full Stack Software Engineer
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, math, or scientific discipline and 4 years of software development experience; OR 6 years of professional experience building software
- Significant programming experience and expertise with Python
- Significant programming experience and expertise with Javascript for front-end development
