This role combines technical expertise with commercial acumen, focusing on proposal development, tender management, and client engagement. Based in Cape Town, the position involves potential national and international travel, primarily focusing on Technical Consultancy Services with complementary SaaS sales responsibilities.
The ideal candidate will join a fast-growing international company with projects in over 100 countries and a team representing 35+ nationalities. The role is split between Sales Engineering (70%) and Business Development (30%), requiring expertise in renewable energy systems including solar, wind, and BESS. You'll be responsible for managing complex tenders, developing technical-economic proposals, and driving business growth in Southern, Western, Central, and Eastern African regions.
