Responsibilities For Data Engineer

  • Craft data pipelines that are accurate, performant, testable, scalable, and secure
  • Apply industry-leading design patterns for ETL process
  • Contribute to agile project teams during scrums, sprint planning, and code reviews
  • Participate in requirements analysis, technical design, implementation, and testing
  • Conduct integration testing
  • Diagnose process failures and data quality issues
  • Participate in planning and estimation efforts
  • Collaborate with engineers, designers, and managers
  • Mentor others through Communities of Practice
  • Drive project delivery within defined architecture

Requirements For Data Engineer

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering
  • 4+ years of experience in data engineering
  • Expertise in Oracle PL/SQL or SQL Server T-SQL
  • Experience with ETL tools (SSIS, Datastage, or Informatica)
  • SQL mastery
  • Experience with DevOps and version control systems
  • Experience with data warehouse concepts and Kimball design
  • Experience in Agile methodologies
  • Strong communication skills
