3Pillar Global is seeking a Lead Application Support Engineer to join their team in Mumbai, focusing on critical banking and treasury applications. This senior role involves leading a team of 2-3 engineers while managing crucial banking applications' support and maintenance. Responsibilities For Lead Application Support Engineer
- Support critical Trading and Treasury applications of the bank
- Perform end to end technical support of various banking applications
- Handle & manage ITIL process like Change, Incident, Problem management
- Managing new requirements/changes to applications, performing technical analysis
- Identify issues and act as the first point of support
- Track and support implementation of Infra Upgrades and Security vulnerabilities/patches
- Monitor ETL, Jobs, Health-checkup runs on daily basis
- Manage regular housekeeping activities for applications
- Coordinate with application partners/vendors/regulator
- Publish regular MIS updates to stakeholders
- Lead a team of 2-3 Engineers
Requirements For Lead Application Support Engineer
- 5+ years of experience in L2- Application Support Engineer role Banking domain
- Experience in Trading, Treasury or Custody applications
- Good knowledge of ITIL - Incident, Change and Problem management
- Strong knowledge of writing and debugging SQL Queries
- Technical skills in Oracle/SQL/MariaDB database, AIX/Unix, MQ, Windows servers, Web server
- Good communication skills
- Ability to analyze new requirements and manage implementation
