Responsibilities For Mid NodeJS Engineer
- Craft efficient, performant, testable, scalable, secure, and high-quality client code
- Provide accurate status tracking, reporting, and estimation using project methods and tools
- Gather requirements, validate understanding, and create/maintain relevant documentation
- Execute activities within the current methodology and uphold quality standards
- Collaborate with engineers, designers, and managers to understand user pain points and iterate on solutions
- Take ownership of projects, from technical design to successful launch
Requirements For Mid NodeJS Engineer
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related field; or equivalent practical experience
- Participated in multiple technical projects as a high-contribution engineer
- 2+ years of experience with Node.js and ES6 Javascript
- 2+ years of experience with SQL (Postgres preferred)
- Back-end expertise
- Database query performance understanding
- OOP expertise and architectural experience
- Experience in engineering software systems of medium-to-large scope and complexity
- Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies
- Experience in building frontend/backend applications at scale
- Proficiency in the English language
