Senior DevOps Engineer - AWS

Join 3Pillar Global as a Senior DevOps Engineer - AWS and elevate your impact! In this role, you'll be responsible for ensuring platform stability and health, breaking down barriers to run products by fostering developer-run ownership. You'll support developers in building resilient products, focusing on operational design, automation, capacity planning, and monitoring.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing all aspects of the production environment for merchant loyalty use cases
• Defining observability strategies and identifying areas for improvement
• Understanding and applying MTTR, SLO, and SLI definitions to services
• Responding to incidents and improving the platform based on feedback
• Ensuring reliable, fault-tolerant, scalable, and cost-effective services and infrastructure
• Maintaining service health through monitoring and measurement
• Practicing sustainable incident response and blameless postmortems
• Supporting services pre-launch through system design consulting and capacity planning
• Working with a global team across multiple geographies and time zones

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field
• Experience with Splunk, SignalFx, and Amazon Web Services (including RDS)
• Strong coding ability in Python or other languages like Java, C#, Golang, C, C++, Perl, Ruby
• Experience in managing large production platforms and implementing data governance processes
