Senior DevOps Engineer - AWS

Join 3Pillar Global as a Senior DevOps Engineer - AWS and elevate your impact! In this role, you'll be responsible for ensuring platform stability and health, breaking down barriers to run products by fostering developer-run ownership. You'll support developers during the application build phase, focusing on operational design, automation, capacity planning, and monitoring for fault-tolerant, scalable products.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing all aspects of the production environment for merchant loyalty use cases
• Defining observability strategies and identifying areas for improvement
• Responding to incidents and improving the platform
• Ensuring reliable, fault-tolerant, and cost-effective services
• Maintaining service health through monitoring and measurement
• Supporting services pre-launch with system design consulting and capacity planning
• Working with a global team across multiple geographies and time zones

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field
• Experience with Splunk, SignalFx, and Amazon Web Services (including RDS)
• Strong coding ability in Python or other languages (Java, C#, Golang, C, C++, Perl, Ruby)
• Experience in managing large production platforms and implementing data governance processes
