42dot is seeking a Lead Audio DSP Engineer to oversee the development of in-vehicle audio signal processing and preprocessing technologies. This role focuses on establishing strategic directions for voice recognition and sound quality optimization in various vehicle environments. The position involves leading a team responsible for internalizing preprocessing technologies (AEC, AGC, NR, etc.) and conducting customized tuning to provide optimized solutions for OEM vehicles. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in audio signal processing, automotive systems, and team leadership, working at the intersection of automotive technology and artificial intelligence. The role offers an opportunity to work on cutting-edge audio technology implementations in autonomous and connected vehicles, with a focus on developing scalable solutions for various vehicle configurations.
Responsibilities For Lead Audio DSP Engineer
- Design and optimize core audio signal processing algorithms including AGC, AEC, NR
- Develop signal processing solutions tailored to vehicle conditions
- Develop voice recognition and signal separation technology for each seat (improving voice signal separation and recognition accuracy based on multi-microphone data)
- Develop scalable algorithms for various seating arrangements and environments
- Support tuning and optimization of preprocessing technology for OEM vehicles
- Manage project schedules and support technical requirements
- Conduct signal quality testing, debugging, and system stabilization
- Internalize technology to reduce dependency on outsourced solutions
- Maintain and advance technology after mass production
Requirements For Lead Audio DSP Engineer
- Experience in audio signal processing and preprocessing algorithm design (AGC, AEC, NR, etc.)
- Experience or understanding of voice recognition and signal separation
- Proficiency in signal processing and algorithm implementation languages such as MATLAB, Python, C/C++
- DSP development experience and debugging skills
- Experience in schedule management and requirements analysis in mass production projects
- Team collaboration and communication skills with external partners
- Experience in automotive audio system development (or similar domain)
- Research or application experience with acoustic technology in multi-microphone environments
