Description For Senior Sensor Fusion Engineer (Autonomous Driving)

42dot is seeking a Senior Sensor Fusion Engineer to develop and lead cutting-edge sensor fusion algorithms for safe autonomous driving. You will process various sensor data from autonomous vehicles to implement sophisticated object models, enabling accurate perception of the surrounding environment. You'll also contribute to system design and optimization in collaboration with various teams at 42dot.

Responsibilities:

  • Advanced image and radar signal processing
  • Implementation and improvement of sophisticated object models
  • Development and optimization of algorithms for real-time autonomous driving
  • Development of system performance analysis tools and automated performance evaluation metrics
  • Leading sensor fusion innovation to improve autonomous driving perception accuracy

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of relevant experience (Ph.D. candidates may apply)
  • Deep understanding of sensors used in autonomous driving
  • Expertise in state estimation, multi-target tracking, data association, and camera geometry
  • Specialized knowledge in linear algebra, probability and statistics, and digital signal processing
  • Programming skills in C/C++, Shell, and Python
  • Development experience in Linux, QNX, and RTOS environments

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in developing perception algorithms for ADAS or autonomous driving systems
  • Practical experience in pre/post-processing of various sensor data
  • Deep knowledge and practical experience with cameras, sensors, and 3D geometry
  • Experience using various libraries and frameworks related to autonomous driving
