Responsibilities For Data Engineer
- Implement data flows to connect operational systems, data for analytics, ML, and BI systems
- Lead development of solutions for streaming data ingestion and transformations
- Design, build and test complex or large scale data products
- Build advanced automation of data engineering pipelines
- Source new data using appropriate tooling
- Understand emerging trends in data tools, analysis techniques and data usage
- Apply industry-recognized data modelling patterns and standards
Requirements For Data Engineer
- Experience with Python programming and focus on code quality and testing
- Proficiency in SQL and understanding of data processing approaches
- Experience in data modelling, ETL/ELT design, data quality testing and monitoring
- Knowledge of Infrastructure As Code for Data Platforms (Terraform and Docker)
