Responsibilities For Data Engineer
- Implement data flows to connect operational systems, data for analytics, ML, and BI systems
- Lead development of solutions for streaming data ingestion and transformations
- Design, build and test data products that are complex or large scale
- Build advanced automation of data engineering pipelines
- Source new data using appropriate tooling
- Understand emerging trends in data tools, analysis techniques and data usage
Requirements For Data Engineer
- Experience with Python programming and focus on code quality and testing
- Proficient in writing efficient SQL
- Experience in data modelling, ETL/ELT technical design, data quality testing
- Knowledge of Infrastructure As Code for Data Platforms (Terraform and Docker)
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and cloud warehouses
