Responsibilities For Senior-Level Structural / Bridge Engineer

  • Serve in a lead technical role on bridge or structural design projects
  • Plan, direct, and monitor aspects of mid-to-large multi-discipline projects
  • Establish client relations and participate in marketing and design meetings
  • Conduct schematic and design development work sessions
  • Ensure project deliverables meet standards and requirements
  • Coordinate staffing and workload throughout project development
  • Implement QA/QC procedures and complete bridge plan reviews
  • Provide training and mentoring for less experienced Project Managers
  • Maintain professional engineering registration

Requirements For Senior-Level Structural / Bridge Engineer

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from ABET accredited institution
  • Professional Engineer (PE) licensure or ability to obtain within 6 months
  • 5+ years of project and client management experience
  • MS Office experience
  • Strong communication, leadership, and mentoring skills
  • Experience with LEAP Bridge Enterprise, LARSA 4D, or related software
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to travel locally
  • Master's degree in Structural Engineering (preferred)
