Responsibilities For Senior-Level Structural / Bridge Engineer
- Serve in a lead technical role on bridge or structural design projects
- Plan, direct, and monitor aspects of mid-to-large multi-discipline projects
- Establish client relations and participate in marketing and design meetings
- Conduct schematic and design development work sessions
- Ensure project deliverables meet standards and requirements
- Coordinate staffing and workload throughout project development
- Implement QA/QC procedures and complete bridge plan reviews
- Provide training and mentoring for less experienced Project Managers
- Maintain professional engineering registration
Requirements For Senior-Level Structural / Bridge Engineer
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from ABET accredited institution
- Professional Engineer (PE) licensure or ability to obtain within 6 months
- 5+ years of project and client management experience
- MS Office experience
- Strong communication, leadership, and mentoring skills
- Experience with LEAP Bridge Enterprise, LARSA 4D, or related software
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to travel locally
- Master's degree in Structural Engineering (preferred)
