Responsibilities For Senior Water Resources Engineer
- Produce construction plans, specifications, and construction estimates
- Design stormwater management systems including open and closed storm drain systems
- Complete calculations, models and reports for Water Resource related projects
- Perform hydrologic and hydraulic modeling for channels, floodplains, and bridges
- Obtain permit approvals from federal, state, and local agencies
- Coordinate internally with other AMT engineers on various projects
- Coordinate externally with clients and regulatory agencies
- Ensure project deliverables meet client requirements and QA/QC procedures
Requirements For Senior Water Resources Engineer
- BS in Civil Engineering or Water Resources Equivalent
- Professional Engineer license preferred
- Fundamentals of Engineering (FE/EIT) Exam completion required
- Minimum 7 years of water resources related experience
- Strong MicroStation/Geopak/InRoads/OpenRoads and/or AutoCAD/Civil 3D skills
- Experience with hydraulic modeling software (HydroCAD, HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, PC-SWMM)
- Knowledge of civil engineering principles
- Self-motivated with ability to work independently or in teams
- Strong organizational, coordination, and communication skills
