Description For EE Engineer

A2MAC1 is seeking an EE Engineer to join their team in Colón, Querétaro, Mexico. This full-time, on-site role is part of the Operations > Electronics department at A2MAC1 Latam SRV. The engineer will be responsible for various tasks related to electronic component analysis and documentation in the automotive industry.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Taking pictures of components
  • Using Photoshop to create location pictures for each component
  • Analyzing components (quantity, number of pins, marking)
  • Updating properties with datasheet information
  • Identifying components used for communication and completing BUS files
  • Identifying ECU function blocks
  • Analyzing PCBs to understand internal connections
  • Creating block diagrams using software tools (currently Microsoft Visio)
  • Preparing parts lists and updating indicator files
  • Documenting teardown sequences with photographs
  • Analyzing PCB connectors (dimensions, type, number of pins)
  • Creating "Pin Number" pictures

The ideal candidate should have a degree in Electronics Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering, or a related field. Knowledge of the automotive industry, particularly in electronics, is essential. Basic understanding of manufacturing processes is required. The role demands intermediate English language skills and a keen interest in teardown processes, preferably in automotive electronics at 1st tier or Semiconductor Manufacturer level.
