Chief Engineer

ABM, a leading facility solutions provider with a $6.4 billion revenue and 130,000+ employees, is seeking a Chief Engineer for their Class-A High-Rise location in Bellevue, WA. The position offers a competitive compensation package ranging from $55 to $60 per hour ($114,400 - $124,800 annually) and comes with a comprehensive benefits package. As Chief Engineer, you'll be responsible for overseeing all maintenance and repair activities of mechanical and electrical systems within the property, with the primary goal of maximizing system life and reliability.

The ideal candidate will bring 5+ years of progressive operations experience in commercial office buildings, particularly in a chief or supervisory role. You'll need strong technical expertise across HVAC, mechanical, plumbing, and electrical systems, combined with excellent leadership and communication skills. The role requires various certifications, including state/local Stationary Engineer licenses and universal level refrigerant recovery license.

Key responsibilities include supervising maintenance operations, managing staff, ensuring OSHA compliance, budget management, and maintaining strong client relationships. You'll work closely with multiple departments to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction while maintaining the property to the highest standards.
