As a Staff/Senior Front End Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of building internal UI products supporting LLM Model orchestration and healthcare AI technology. The role offers a competitive salary range of $185K-$265K plus equity, and requires 5+ years of experience in building scalable distributed systems.
The position combines technical leadership with hands-on development, requiring expertise in TypeScript, Python, React, and Node.js, along with experience in LLM integration and cloud services. You'll work in a hybrid environment from the San Francisco office, collaborating with cross-functional teams including AI scientists, practicing MDs, and engineers.

Responsibilities For Front End Engineer (Staff/Senior)
- Design, build, and maintain highly scalable cloud-based services
- Create tooling to support ML model lifecycle
- Build scalable infrastructure for LLM model orchestration
- Make architecture and technology decisions
- Enhance platform performance and scalability
- Work cross-functionally with product, ML, and design teams
- Research and evaluate commercial and open-source tools
- Mentor junior engineers
- Build deep empathy for users
- Contribute to ML infrastructure development
Requirements For Front End Engineer (Staff/Senior)
- 5+ years experience building and scaling distributed systems
- Hands-on experience with LLMs and APIs
- Proficiency in cloud services (AWS, GCP)
- Experience with infrastructure as code and containerization
- Proven experience leading engineering teams
- Background in optimizing LLM inference systems (preferred)
- Experience in regulated environments (HIPAA, SOC 2, or HITRUST) is a plus
- Must be willing to work from SF office 3x per week
- Must be willing to travel up to 10%
