Description For Full Stack Engineer, Integrations (Senior/Staff)

Abridge, founded in 2018, is on a mission to power deeper understanding in healthcare. Our AI-powered platform transforms patient-clinician conversations into structured clinical notes in real-time, with deep EMR integrations. We're seeking a Staff/Senior Integrations Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you'll design, build, and scale our integrations powering our product, working alongside engineers, implementation specialists, support, and product managers.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Scaling up our business by designing, building, and supporting integrations and infrastructure
  • Building robust healthcare integrations using REST-like APIs, FHIR, HL7v2, and other third-party APIs
  • Collaborating with health system customers to deploy, troubleshoot, and support integrations
  • Enhancing existing systems for improved functionality, performance, and security
  • Advocating for high standards and making quality-of-life improvements to the codebase

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience launching business-critical integrations with large enterprises
  • Experience with REST-like APIs, OAuth2.0, mTLS
  • Excitement about working with NodeJS/TypeScript and Google Cloud Platform
  • Passion for healthcare integrations
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work autonomously

The role offers a competitive salary range of $185,000 - $265,000 USD per year, plus equity. We prefer candidates willing to work from our SF or NYC offices 2-3x/week or based in the Verona, Wisconsin area. Relocation assistance is available.

Responsibilities For Full Stack Engineer, Integrations (Senior/Staff)

  • Scale up our business by designing, building, and supporting our integrations and infrastructure
  • Build robust healthcare integrations without compromising security, privacy, or quality
  • Collaborate closely with our health system customers to deploy, troubleshoot, and support integrations
  • Enhance existing systems to add new functionality, and to improve performance, stability, quality, and security
  • Advocate for high standards; make quality-of-life improvements to the codebase
  • Build deep user empathy and maintain a user-centric mindset
  • Communicate regularly and effectively within and on behalf of our cross-functional product delivery teams
