Full Stack Engineer, Security (Staff/Senior)

Abridge, founded in 2018, is revolutionizing healthcare with its AI-powered platform for medical conversations. As a Full Stack Engineer, Security (Staff/Senior), you'll join a US-based engineering team working on generative AI products that aim to bring joy back to medicine. You'll primarily work with TypeScript, React, and Node, contributing to new functionality and serving as a subject-matter expert for application security.

Key responsibilities include:

• Designing and building robust cloud-native applications, services, and APIs
• Leading security initiatives, including secure code reviews and championing secure coding practices
• Researching and recommending solutions to enhance capabilities
• Improving existing systems for performance, stability, quality, and security
• Building user empathy and maintaining a user-centric mindset
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams

Requirements:

• 7+ years of software engineering experience, with a focus on cloud-native applications
• Strong passion for software security across multiple stack levels
• Experience in regulated environments (SOC2, HITRUST)
• Up-to-date on industry best practices and eager to learn
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced startup environment
