Description For Platform Engineer (Staff/Senior)

Abridge, founded in 2018, is revolutionizing healthcare with its AI-powered platform for medical conversations. As a Platform Engineer (Staff/Senior), you'll be crucial in building, securing, and scaling our industry-leading natural language understanding products. You'll work with application and machine learning engineers to deploy services using terraform and Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and set up secure integrations with customers and partners.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Building and deploying infrastructure for mobile and web applications
  • Creating secure integrations between Abridge and healthcare systems
  • Enabling "you build it, you run it" practices
  • Improving engineering velocity through tooling and processes
  • Managing CI/CD pipelines and cloud-based development infrastructure
  • Implementing security best practices
  • Creating and maintaining documentation

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of software engineering experience, with 3+ years in infrastructure-as-code
  • Experience with Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and Google Cloud Platform
  • Proficiency in backend scripting languages
  • Willingness to work in a hybrid model (2-3 days/week in office)
  • Up to 10% travel for team retreats
