Abridge, founded in 2018, is on a mission to power deeper understanding in healthcare. Our AI-powered platform transforms patient-clinician conversations into structured clinical notes in real-time, with deep EMR integrations. We're seeking Staff & Senior Full Stack Software Engineers to join our growing team.

As a Full Stack Software Engineer at Abridge, you'll play a crucial role in scaling and maturing our business by building and supporting new and existing web applications and their supporting backends. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Designing, building, and supporting easy-to-use web applications, including both front-end features and backend services
  • Making and implementing technology decisions that support business needs without compromising security, privacy, or quality
  • Enhancing existing systems to add new functionality and improve performance, stability, quality, and security
  • Advocating for high standards and helping limit the growth of technical debt
  • Building deep user empathy and maintaining a user-centric mindset
  • Communicating effectively within cross-functional product delivery teams

We're looking for candidates with:

  • 5+ years of experience building, shipping, and operating web applications at scale
  • Experience as a lead engineer on a major component or subsystem of a software platform
  • Excitement about working in our tech stack: primarily NodeJS (TypeScript) and React running on Google Cloud (GCP)
  • Ability to act with autonomy & self-direction while working well in a team environment
  • Willingness to pitch in wherever needed
