As a Data Engineer at Accellor, you'll be responsible for:

  1. Building a High-Performing Data Platform:

    • Assist in building a data platform for reporting tools and analytics
    • Optimize data models for performance
  2. Data Tools Development:

    • Create data tools for analytics and optimize data models
    • Evaluate and communicate pros and cons of different modeling approaches
  3. Production Data Pipelines:

    • Design and build production data pipelines within a big data architecture
    • Utilize continuous delivery practices for deploying, supporting, and operating data pipelines
  4. Understanding of Data Enterprise Applications:

    • Gain thorough understanding of data enterprise applications (unified ID, de-duplication, classification, aggregation models)
    • Identify and prioritize data sources of truth
  5. Data Quality Integration:

    • Integrate data quality practices into daily work and delivery process
    • Ensure data quality throughout the data lifecycle
  6. Database Experience:

    • Design database schemas covering all use cases
    • Evaluate and suggest suitable databases considering pricing and deployment

Requirements For Data Engineer

Python
  • Minimum 5+ years experience as Data Engineer
  • Experience in SQL, Python, and PySpark Notebook programming skills
  • Understanding of Data Warehousing ETL and reporting
  • Exposure to Fabric, Synapse Analytics Notebooks, or Databricks
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to interact directly with clients
  • Design relational, multidimensional, and Master data management systems
