Description For Azure DevOps Engineer

Accenture Federal Services (AFS) is seeking a Cloud/DevOps/Azure focused engineer to join their team of highly qualified professionals. This role will support the development and sustainment of unique secure enclaves at the edge, providing enterprise services and cyber network defense capabilities to customers across the DoD.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and automate workload deployments with customer site-specific requirements
  • Design, develop, and build automated CI/CD pipelines to deliver solutions
  • Automate deployment, scaling, and monitoring of applications and services
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth integration of solutions into the production environment
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to infrastructure, deployment, and automation
  • Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards
  • Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers to solve complex problems

Requirements:

  • 8+ years demonstrated performance in related field or technologies
  • 2+ years of experience with Cloud Platforms (strong preference for Azure)
  • 1+ year of experience with template-based IaC tools (such as Bicep, ARM, Terraform)
  • 1+ year of experience with scripting languages (such as Powershell, DSC, Azure CLI)
  • 1+ years of experience with Windows imaging, including scripting silent application installation, creating automation to support imaging, testing, and deploying created images
  • Active TS/SCI security clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3+ years leadership experience in relevant area
  • Technical Certifications, such as Microsoft AZ104, AZ305, AZ500, AZ600, CISSP, CISM, CISA, GSLC, CASP, ITIL, CEH
