Data Engineer

Accenture Federal Services is seeking a Data Engineer to join their National Security Practice. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects that directly impact the nation's security and well-being.

As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining distributed parallel data processing pipelines. Your work will involve configuring data connections, parsing data, normalizing and modeling data, enriching data, and integrating with data analytics tools. You'll operate in an agile environment, following best practices in software development and data engineering.

Key responsibilities include:

• Developing stages of distributed parallel data processing pipelines
• Operating and maintaining data processing pipelines to meet platform availability requirements
• Applying agile methodologies to the data engineering aspects of the system development life cycle
• Updating technical documentation, including system design documentation, standard operating procedures, and training materials

To excel in this role, you should have:

• A Bachelor's degree in a STEM field
• At least 2 years of experience as a software engineer or data engineer
• Proficiency in Python, Java, or other relevant programming languages
• Experience with Git repositories and CI/CD pipelines
• Familiarity with distributed parallel streaming and batch data processing
• Experience integrating with data SDKs/APIs and data analytics tools
• An active TS/SCI US Government security clearance

Accenture Federal Services offers a competitive salary range of $83,900 to $170,200, along with a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance.
