As a Database Engineer at Accenture Federal Services, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity, security, and availability of multiple databases. Your responsibilities will include disaster recovery, performance analysis and tuning, index maintenance, and data monitoring. You'll be at the forefront of database management, implementing policies and procedures to ensure the highest level of system performance and compliance with business requirements.
Key Responsibilities: • Administer and maintain Oracle, SQL Server, and SYBASE Database and Application servers • Evaluate and recommend database management system (DBMS) products • Perform database and software life-cycle activities • Organize and format data for efficient query and storage processes • Implement disaster recovery strategies and security measures
We're looking for a seasoned professional with at least 10 years of experience as a database engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity. You should have a Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience. Most importantly, you must have an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
