Description For Directory Services Engineer (RHDS)

Accenture Federal Services is seeking a Directory Services Engineer (RHDS) to join our team in Washington, DC. This role is crucial in supporting our mission to help the US federal government strengthen national security and improve public services.

As a Directory Services Engineer, you will be responsible for the administration of Red Hat Directory Services products in Identity and Access Management, including RadiantOne Identity Data Platform and Shibboleth. Your expertise will be instrumental in maintaining and enhancing our clients' directory services infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer and engineer Red Hat Directory Server and related Identity and Access Management solutions
  • Review and improve existing processes and procedures, focusing on automating manual activities
  • Install, configure, and maintain the SSO product Shibboleth
  • Perform system patching and updates, resolving infrastructure issues between LDAP/Directory Services products and enterprise environments
  • Interface with customers to support onboarding activities
  • Utilize tools like Splunk for auditing and logging with LDAP/Directory Services products

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of administration and/or engineering experience with Red Hat Directory Server
  • Experience supporting an Identity and Access Management solution
  • Proficiency in RedHat Linux OS Administration
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills for interfacing with customers and team members

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Shibboleth
  • Familiarity with cloud service providers such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
  • Scripting experience (Shell, Bash, Java Development/APIs)
  • Automation experience with Puppet, Salt, or Ansible
  • Knowledge of NIST 800, FedRAMP, Risk Management Framework, and FISMA standards
  • Relevant certifications in Identity & Access Management, Networking, or Security Tools
