Description For ISSE / Cybersecurity Engineer

Accenture Federal Services is seeking an Information System Security Engineer (ISSE) / Cybersecurity Engineer to join their team of 13,000+ professionals dedicated to serving the US federal government. This role involves providing engineering expertise using technologies such as ePO, Splunk, ACAS, Azure Automation, STIG/SCAP, and other enterprise capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engineer unique solutions to support ongoing Cyber Threat and Cyber Defensive Operations
  • Automate threat assessment and reporting activities
  • Analyze and report system and organizational security posture trends
  • Provide cybersecurity recommendations based on significant threats and vulnerabilities
  • Implement system security measures to ensure confidentiality, integrity, availability, authentication, and non-repudiation
  • Plan and recommend modifications based on exercise results
  • Mitigate or correct security deficiencies identified during testing

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of demonstrated performance in related field or technologies
  • 1+ years of experience implementing and managing security controls in cloud environments
  • 1+ year experience developing and maintaining comprehensive security documentation
  • Satisfaction of 8570 IAT II requirements (typically Security+ or greater)
  • Active TS/SCI security clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3+ years leadership experience in relevant area
  • Technical Certifications (e.g., Microsoft SC100, SC200, SC300, SC400, AZ104, AZ500, CISSP, CISM, CISA, GSLC, CASP, ITIL, CEH)

This role offers an opportunity to work on unique secure enclaves at the edge, providing enterprise services and key cyber network defense capabilities to customers across the DoD. The position requires working onsite and is not available for remote or hybrid arrangements.
