Description For Java Developer

At Accenture Federal Services, we're seeking a Java Developer to join our team of 13,000+ professionals dedicated to strengthening and safeguarding the nation. You'll be part of a community that drives positive change for US federal government clients across defense, national security, public safety, and health sectors.

As a Java Developer, you'll contribute to building Web and backend applications/services for credentialing/case management systems. You'll work with Java/Spring-based REST APIs, Web 2.0 frameworks, and a continuous integration environment. This role is perfect for someone passionate about developing next-generation customer engagement systems for federal service agencies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop enterprise applications using Java
  • Build Web and backend services using Spring framework
  • Work with REST APIs and Web 2.0 technologies
  • Collaborate in an Agile development environment

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of Java development experience
  • 1+ years experience with Java development tools (e.g., Eclipse, JUnit, Git)
  • 1+ years experience with AngularJS, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Bootstrap
  • US Citizenship (required)

Bonus Skills:

  • Experience in large-scale Federal IT Programs
  • Familiarity with SAFe Agile delivery framework
