Description For Microsoft System Engineer

Accenture Federal Services is seeking a Microsoft System Engineer to support the installation and maintenance of Accenture's Task Management Solution developed on Microsoft's Power Platform. This solution has been deployed and used by Department of Defense clients located in the continental U.S., Europe, and Asia for over 16 years.

The Microsoft Systems Engineer will work with multiple technologies including PowerApps, Power Platform, Dynamics, SharePoint, SQL, Active Directory, Active Directory Federation Services, Entra ID, load balancing (software or hardware), Exchange, Azure, and Office 365.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading Dynamics/PowerApps TMT solution installation, configuration, and troubleshooting activities
  • Developing and delivering client installation plans
  • Acting as an escalation point for technical issues
  • Leading migration of client data from on-premises to online
  • Managing client expectations regarding solution functionality and timelines
  • Being a subject matter expert in solution architecture in Azure environments
  • Supporting testing of new version releases and updates to installation documentation
  • Collaborating with the Leadership Team on Product Roadmaps
  • Providing technical leadership to the engineering team

Responsibilities For Microsoft System Engineer

  • Lead Dynamics/PowerApps TMT solution installation, configuration, and troubleshooting activities
  • Develop and deliver the client installation plan through coordination with clients and the project team
  • Act as escalation point for technical issues from clients and other system engineers
  • Lead in migration of client data from on-premises to online
  • Manage client expectations regarding solution functionality, deployment processes, and realistic timelines
  • Be a subject matter expert in solution architecture in Azure environments
  • Support testing of new version releases and updates to installation documentation
  • Collaborate with Leadership Team to review and contribute to Product Roadmaps
  • Identify the organizational impact of the technical solution architecture
  • Provide technical leadership to the engineering team when necessary
  • Provide expert knowledge of product architecture, serving as Subject Matter Expert to business, operations, and technology teams

Requirements For Microsoft System Engineer

JavaScript
TypeScript
  • CompTIA SECURITY+ certification (or higher certification)
  • 3-5 years of MS Active Directory design and implementation experience
  • 3-5 years of Windows Server technology administration and maintenance
  • 3-5 years of Microsoft PowerShell experience, with a focus on automation
  • 5+ years of web based .Net Application support in a SQL Server environment
  • 2 years of PowerApps, Power Platform, and Dataverse experience
  • Demonstrated Proficiency in Flows, Power Automate, and SharePoint Online
  • 2 years of SharePoint Administration
  • 3-5 years working with T-SQL queries (writing/debugging)
  • 2-3 years acting as a technical lead
  • 3-5 years troubleshooting experience for both routine and complex problems
  • Must be eligible for a Secret clearance; Active Secret clearance preferred
